“You can’t fix yourself in parts. You gotta fix the whole” says Dr. Sampath Goud, a holistic wellness coach, medical doctor, educationalist and entrepreneur from Hyderabad, India. He asserts that wellness by its very definition aims to bring about complete physical, mental, social, and spiritual wellbeing.
Having grown up in the ‘urban chaos’ as he calls it and making it to Osmania Medical College, one of the topmost medical schools in India, Dr. Sampath has been a quick learner in every field he ventured into. “My parents noticed an ever-growing thirst for knowledge in me at a very early age and provided me with all the resources to study everything I wanted,” he recounts about finishing to read vast literature on a wide range of subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Psychology, Philosophy, Yoga, Vedanta, Meditation and Alternative medicine before he turned 20.
Along with the rigorous practice of Yoga, Vedanta, and Meditation since childhood, an MBBS degree and research experience in clinical nutrition gave Dr. Sampath a new perspective on health and wellbeing. The alarming rise of chronic diseases, skyrocketing healthcare costs, falling levels of individual happiness, increasing stress levels, rising suicides have made him realize the importance of the age-old maxim, “prevention is better than cure.”
“No goal in your life is greater than wellness and excellence,” says Dr Sampath as he talks about how he started his journey from educating small groups of people in the early days to finally establishing a brand of his own, Wellbeingly.
At Wellbeingly, Dr Sampath has been offering his trademark techniques such as “Conscious Living Program”, “Distress to De-stress”, “Creative Excellence”, and “Visionary Leadership” to name a few. He mentioned that his Conscious Living Program as “the most holistic program to enhance one’s perception in a way that could bring wellbeing on all levels”.
Dr Sampath has a diverse clientele with people from varied backgrounds, who vouch by his techniques, while they are a perfect synthesis of ancient wisdom and modern science.
Through his workshops, he teaches simple lifestyle changes in terms of nutrition and other habits along with a set of powerful physical and mental exercises specially curated by him. He strongly recommends people against taking up fad diets, extreme workouts, and chemicals for wellbeing.
