By many metrics, 25-year-old Joel Bullock, professionally known as Jaye Bullo, has become one of North Carolina’s most talked about independent/emerging artists. Over the past 7 months, the critically acclaimed rapper has Independently gained nationwide traction, capturing media attention from blogs & magazines, garnering millions of streams coinciding with the release of his sophomore album titled ‘God Forgive Me, Vol. 2’, Jaye continues building momentum.
GFM2 seemingly demonstrates his ability to effortlessly surf between melodic, attention grabbing hooks, while also able to capture listeners with his tongue twisting yet eye-opening metaphors. Quickly achieving crossover stardom through a prolific stream of singles such as “Hold My Hand” and “The Way You Are”, while also catering to his Hip-Hop core with records that take on a much more opulent tone such as “The Renaissance”, “War Wounds”, “Highly Sophisticated”, and hard hitting single “Awesome”. The North Carolina native began his journey into the spotlight nearly a decade ago at the age of 15. In the fall of 2011, Jaye briefly toured with Chris Brown on the “F.A.M.E” tour alongside Kelly Rowland, T-Pain, & Tyga. Releasing quite an impressive catalogue of mixtapes from 2010 til 2015, ‘God Forgive Me, Vol. 2’ serves as the follow up to his 2018 debut album ‘God Forgive Me’. Shortly after the release of the first installment to the GFM series, Jaye founded Beautiful Music Empire, officially launching parallel to the release of Vol. 2.
As founder & CEO of Beautiful Music Empire, Jaye is also credited as executive producer & overseer of all projects released under Beautiful Music Empire’s umbrella. The soon to be 26-year-old boss has also formed an in-house production collective known as the Beautiful Music Mafia, alongside production duo The Goodfellas to collaboratively produce the bulk of the labels musical content.
The foundation of the label occurred in 2018 as an outlet to independently structure, cultivate, and further expand his reach. Fast forward to 2020, the label and its figurehead artist are seeing increasing popularity.
