MIBE Music was founded in 2015 by Peter Zepina and his partner Michael Amoia. Peter is a successful entrepreneur and producer nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Sports Documentary for his work on LT: The Life and Times in the 2014 edition of the annual awards show. He also collaborated as an executive producer on the 2019 documentary “Illustrated Man.”
For the previous three telethons, Peter’s company MIBE had donated its services to the Union Rescue Mission – URM. MIBE – Music Inspired By Everything – is a music firm that takes an innovative approach to music licensing and audio branding. It provides music and soundtracks for reality and TV shows. With exclusive composers worldwide, the music company has developed content for some of the industry’s major advertisers, production companies, film producers, and television networks.
Curated by editors and producers for the industry creative, MIBE contains over 100,000 bespoke music tracks (including alternative versions) that span over 34 genres and 229 sub-genres. Each musical item is examined and tagged to ensure lightning-fast accuracy in searches. “It’s not about us; it’s all about the music,” says the company.
Peter’s Contribution
Being the co-founder of the company, Peter and his team have decided to become a helping hand to the suffering people. As mentioned above, MIBE has donated its services to the URM for its last three telethons.
URM is a non-profit organization that has provided safe shelter, meals, education, counseling, medical services, long-term rehabilitation programs, and encouragement to assist those escaping the cycle of homelessness for over 130 years.
URM is fighting homelessness with the help of donors who are humble enough to understand the pain of others.
Donating to noble causes benefits charities and may also be quite rewarding for you. Masses of people give to charity monthly to support causes they care about and improve their lives.
So, what exactly about charity makes it so fulfilling? We’ve looked at some of the reasons why you should donate to charities.
Makes You Feel Good
Donating to charity is a great way to lift your spirits. Knowing that you are assisting others is highly empowering and, as a result, can make you feel good. Donating triggers positive activity in the part of the brain that detects joy, indicating that, as the old saying goes, it is far better to give than to receive.
Strengthens Personal Values
To many people, having the ability to improve the lives of others is a privilege that comes with a sense of obligation. Acting on our strong sentiments of responsibility is a fantastic way to reaffirm our ideals and feel like we’re living our life according to our ethical views.
Introduces the Value of Generosity
Donating to charity along with your children teaches them at an early age that they can make a difference in the world. Children naturally desire to help others, so cultivating their inherent generosity is likely to result in their growing up with a greater understanding of what they have and continuing to support the charity in the future.
Creating a family donation box that everyone can contribute to and designating a family charity regularly and involving the children in determining which causes to support is an easy approach to setting a precedent for your children.
Encourages Others To Do The Same
Your contributions to charity organizations can inspire your loved ones to donate to causes that are important to them. They may even spark a family-wide effort to support a charity or charities that are especially important to you as a group.
Family donation establishes a bond, helping to strengthen relationships via a common aim and raising more money than individual gifts could. Many of your family members may already be donating to charity, so working together could help you make an even bigger difference.
Peter Zepina – A Humanitarian Par Excellence
One thing we may learn from Peter’s life is that not everyone who GOD blesses has a big enough heart to care about the misery and suffering of others. He teaches us that no matter how successful you get, you should never look down upon individuals who need your help. Those who are able to feel the pain of others cannot see them suffering and become victims of this brutal world.
Peter likes to help homeless people whenever possible. Both, he and his company, MIBE music, are setting outstanding examples of compassion and generosity. The company sponsors the URM – Union Rescue Mission telethon, which is a non-profit organization based in LA. It is currently helping homeless individuals by sheltering them, helping them receive the best education, and providing food and other necessities of life.
