Even at a time when most businesses have a solid understanding of social networks and their importance, too many businesses are still struggling with establishing a presence on them. Instagram doesn’t seem like the best channel for sharing financial concepts. It’s a field that can get pretty complex, and Instagram is often seen as the social network for some lifestyle content that’s shiny and only as deep as the layer of pixels that displays it.

The content created and published by Jason’s company takes the best from both worlds. It takes the high-value information one would expect to see in financial education content, but it packages it in a way that’s easy to consume.

Infographics, a type of content the company is putting out a lot, are a great way to use a visually attractive and interesting design to deliver important information. OptionsSwing has been creating lots and lots of them, and they’ve been a large part of the company’s success story.

The Goal and the Product

Even the prettiest pictures and the most useful information wouldn’t be worth that much if there weren’t a unifying purpose behind them. While it might be easy to say that the purpose of such a strategy would be just to drum up business, it would also be untrue in this case.

The real goal behind OptionsSwing is education. The company’s motto puts education above profits, which is a kind of blasphemy one rarely sees from a capitalist company. Still, the motto perfectly denotes the company’s understanding of where the real power lies and what has the most value. It just so happens that the company’s been using Instagram mercilessly to spread the power and share the value.
