KJ VanDerwerken has been in the insurance industry for eight long years now, gaining some good amount of experience which has helped him reach new heights. Based in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina he has been working full-fledgedly as an insurance agent for Movement Insurance. But he also has his own ventures running alongside.
The entrepreneur was always passionate about real estate and found sense in the industry from an investment standpoint. It was back in the year 2015 when VanDerwerken started his own real estate holding company. Since then, he has bought a new home every year, making a current total of 5 now, adding up to over $800,000 in assets.
In addition to his real estate business, the entrepreneur started an online vintage shop this year in March in a partnership with a friend. Called the Locker Room Clt, the portal provides the consumers with historic sportswear and pop culture pieces, which are gathered from flea markets, warehouses and yard sales. Having just started a few months ago, the expected revenue is around $120,000 in the very first year, which is a fabulous start.
Talking about the insurance company, VanDerwerken has been leading their sales since the past few years. Every year he has been hitting some or the other milestone with $700,000 being his all-time high in terms of a new personal line premium in a year.
In the past eight years, he has served over 3,100 clients with around 3,700 policies. In the short span on time, he has produced a $3,200,000+ book of personal lines business, which is a path breaking number for an insurance agent.
Such feats are the reason why he has been honoured with several awards in the past few years. In 2018, he received two 30 Under 30 business awards. In addition to those, he has also been honoured with the Five Star Professional Award thrice along with the RISE Award this year.
