“I do not believe in having a career; it’s a passion.” Jennifer Carrasco, the CEO of Virago Skin & Body Studio, V Skincare, Roseville Rocklin Electric, Inc, and dabbles in various other passions. She has established herself as one of the hardest working, self-made female entrepreneurs in the world today. Carrasco has worked hard to separate herself from the others in her field and is presenting herself as someone the future generation of female entrepreneurs can look up to. Learning from every choice she made in her life, Jennifer Carrasco is looking to redefine what an entrepreneur can look and act like.
She was married at 19, had a child at 21, and Divorced at 23. She also claimed bankruptcy twice. Jennifer Carrasco knew she could only go up when she reclaimed her career as an entrepreneur. Exploring the world of skincare, she founded Virago Skin & Body Studio, along with her V Skincare line, to show the world that there are skincare products that will make you not only look good but feel good. “My due diligence was to create a line that worked with real ingredients backed by science,” Carrasco shares. On top of her work in the beauty care world, the California entrepreneur also found her way into the field of electrical contracting, proving to herself and others that she can succeed at whatever she puts her mind to. Further establishing her diverse talents, Carrasco also coaches and mentors in business with Ryan Stewman of Apex Entrepreneurs.
Learning and using motivation from her past mistakes, Jennifer propelled herself into entrepreneurial status with great success and knew she had more to offer the world. This feeling birthed her WTF Is Beauty Anyway podcast. “I am helping others with the knowledge I have attained over the years of hard knocks.” Being the inspirational and kind-hearted female entrepreneur she is, Jennifer Carrasco is hoping that she can help mold a brand-new wave of female entrepreneurs by sharing her stories and experiences. Carrasco shares a sentiment of resilience that she both lives by and encourages others to follow as well. “In this lifetime, we all are here for a purpose and a point. That inner voice, that feeling that you cannot shake. That thought you should not ignore,” Carrasco states. “That is your calling, your gift. Don’t let fear stand in your way.”
