The music video for this song was released in mid-February and it has crossed 1.5 million views till now. “Watchu Tryna Do?” has reached #50 on the Top 40 Radio Charts and #26 on the R&B iTunes Charts at present.
Gigi Vega wrote it before Covid-19 and she adapted it to include the essence of the Covid-19 climate in it. The single was featured with Empire recording artist rapper TEC and a New Orleans bounce mix by BlaqNmilD, featuring Big Freedia.
