At the age of 17, Damian Prosalendis became the National Kickboxing Champion of Greece but his family convinced him to pursue the conventional path of university education. Prosalendis toughed it out studying chemical engineering at Greece’s Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for one and a half years even though life was hard as a broke student. When he dropped out at 19, he was warned that he would regret this decision.
One year later, Prosalendis made his first million by growing a massively successful e-Commerce consulting firm. The company became the go-to choice for Amazon listings for over 10,000 businesses in 119 countries and 4 continents, from new startups to multi-million dollar brands.
These days, Prosalendis marches to the beat of his own drummer.
The maverick millionaire, 24, now has businesses dealing in video production, digital media and business development. He also has an impressive investment portfolio of international real estate and Forex investments. Prosalendis considers the latter his biggest success to date as he managed to scale his investment earnings from $100 a day to over $10,000 a day without much effort.
He works smart, not hard to grow his wealth and says assembling a team is crucial. “ Being a one man army is a surefire way to burn yourself out. I always look for people who either have the skills I lack or people who can duplicate the skills I have to serve more clients,” he explains. For example, he hired a talented technical team for his video production studio. This allowed him to focus on client acquisition, management and strategy, areas which he mastered during his Fiverr endeavor.
This strategy also gives him the time to travel the world training with masters of different martial arts styles, with a view towards pro fighting and becoming a world champion. Coincidentally Prosalendis’s love of martial arts is also his inspiration for success. “Even though winning in business takes time and every gym session or fighting class is a win by itself. Gym and fighting builds up confidence and above all self respect, which is crucial for business success,” he stresses. “Ultimately, your business is a reflection of yourself. If you build yourself in the gym and with fight training every day, every aspect of that growth will very soon manifest itself in your business.”
