Clark Williams – from a young black kid to a major social media influencer and fashion entrepreneur

The story of sport reaction will be incomplete without the mention of Clark Williams, also known as OprahSide. Describing himself as “just a dude that loves watching sports more than playing them,” Clark obviously made it worth every second he spent watching his favorite sports. Clark launched a YouTube channel in 2017, which is second, introducing the world to the concept of sports reactions.

The popularity of social media influencing has increased in recent times due to the number of users of the different platforms across the globe. Consequently, brands have leveraged the followership of these internet celebrities to promote their products and services in exchange for some form of reward. However, one individual seems to have added a twist to the concept of social media influencing by setting the trend is Clark Williams.

The normal kid from Illinois started YouTube in 2016 playing video games, with exploits helping him to grow his popularity to about 600 thousand followers. About a year later after moving to California, Clark created another channel for sports reactions. This can be described as his Holy Grail that did not only open ways for him as an online celebrity but also paved the way for millions of other YouTube users worldwide.

I really just came up with an idea on YouTube that no one was doing. I created a lane for so many others to make money off as well,” said Clark Williams.

Practically every successful entrepreneur has passed through a series of obstacles on their path to greatness. The case of Clark Williams is not notably different, as he had to overcome several challenges, including the struggles that come with being a black influencer on social media. However, the problems seem to have only spurred the passionate entrepreneur to achieve more significant feats.

I faced depression, I faced a lot of stress, I faced the struggles that come with being a black influencer on social media, and I’ve faced what feels like to me as a lack of appreciation for what I do for the world. But all of that has just made me stronger,” said Clark Williams.

Clark currently has more than 2 million subscribers on YouTube and also has a clothing line name Likemnds.
