In the past few years, we have seen the rise of many entrepreneurs. People start a small business, and with time, they grow big, and some end up dominating the marketing. Most of these ventures have young minds running them. Now, joining the bandwagon with a unique idea is Australia’s Angus Onisforou.
Angus Onisforou is all set to start his new auction house business next month in Melbourne. It will be an online business specialising in Cars and Collectables with all the cars underwritten on the platform. He shares, “I was inspired to start my business due to being an avid watch collector as well as the motor enthusiast. I had the idea to start this platform due to the benefits it provides to both the seller and buyer in having a large variety of cars and collectables in the one place with competitive rates.”
One may wonder why Angus Onisforou would start a business when we are dealing with a pandemic. Well, Angus has his research done and observed that e-commerce showed steady growth last year. He states, “Covid has made this business possible due to the growth of the online e-commerce sector.”
Another factor that gives him the confidence to run his business is his educational background. Angus Onisforou is currently pursuing Business/Law at the University of Technology, Sydney. So he is aware of the basics and crucial factors to keep in mind while venturing into an entrepreneurial journey. Angus will be handling his business as well as completing his studies simultaneously. He wants to expand his Cars and Collectables auction house online venture worldwide by the end of this year itself.
Angus Onisforou has always been a visionary. His love for technology and motors is not new to people around him. In 2018, he developed a Quad Safe Early Warning System device that warns quad bike, golf cart, or mobility scooter whenever they are about to enter a dangerous territory. At that time, he was just in high school. His parents and friends have full confidence in Angus and his new venture.
