A Cuban-American from Southern Oregon, influencer Gabriel M Padilla moved to Los Angeles when he was 18 years old to launch his modeling career in 2015. After two years of being signed to three different agencies in three different markets, Gabriel made the instinctive switch to social media knowing very well that it was going to take over the modeling industry. And boy, was he right! During the light of the pandemic, Gabriel even co-founded a company called Model Citizen. The company serves as a subscription box service designed to put life-saving PPE in the hands of as many people as possible, while offering a 1-for-1 donation model wherein they donate a mask to frontline workers and communities in need for every single mask included in the boxes that the company sells.
Gabriel met his girlfriend, Monica Landén in Los Angeles four years ago. Finnish-born Monica realized she has a passion for traveling when she was only 13 years old. After getting the green light from her parents to travel on her own, she began to explore all of Europe and even more exotic locations such as Brazil, Mexico, Australia, as well as Northern America. Meeting Gabriel meant that Monica officially had a travel partner for all her future adventures, since they both shared their love for travel.
Although the couple faced some issues earlier on as they decided to live their lives together being from two different countries, they had to initially live from one place to another, until they were finally able to stabilize themselves in their own apartment in LA.
A blessing entered the lovebirds’ lives when they got Roxy, a stunning Husky-German Shepherd mix. With the huge sense of responsibility attributed to Gabriel and Monica, they officially became a family with Roxy as their adorable millennial baby.
World-Traveling Millennial Family
Gabriel and Monica enjoyed every second of raising Roxy as a puppy. This is evident from their Instagram @WithRoxy, which is way more than the everyday pet influencer out there! @WithRoxy portrays their life as a family, with many other elements combined such as travel, fashion, lifestyle, and simply having a pet overall.
The couple made it a point to never leave Roxy alone, she is always with them, most especially with her mommy Monica. Together, the three of them travel—exploring one country at a time. It truly is exciting for the hundreds of thousands of fans to see a gorgeous world-traveling dog, who has lived in four different states and two different countries since she was born. Fans also get excited to see where the family’s next adventure is headed to next.
The greatest achievement of becoming a world-traveling family for Gabriel and Monica is the true freedom they have achieved, both financially and with the flexibility that comes with it. They began their lives together with a dream and no safety net, working hard to get to where they are today.
