First of all, Congratulations on being recognized as one of the Top 15 Game Changers Transforming Industries in 2025. What does this recognition mean to you, and how does it validate the work you’ve been doing at the intersection of entertainment, well-being, and personal growth?

Thank you so much. I am honoured to be acknowledged in this way.

My life and work are guided by an exploration and celebration of wellbeing and creativity. That passion and sense of purpose is clear and strong in how I live and in everything I do. If I inspire anyone on their journey, I feel fulfilled and successful.

I am so grateful to live a life of my own design which weaves together skills and passion, allowing me to do what I love and collaborate with interesting, talented people.

Through Sage & Strong Experiences and Kind Spirit Media, you’ve created spaces and content where creativity and well-being intersect. What initially inspired you to merge these two worlds, and how do your platforms empower individuals to grow personally through creative expression?

Kind Spirit Media was founded to develop conscious content in collaboration with inspiring experts and creatives.

I began my media career as an actress on a TV show, whilst studying film at St. Martins in London. I also chose to work behind-the-scenes and ended up in mostt aspects of the film & TV industry from being a researcher and personal assistant to writing, directing, cinematography, editing and promotion. I ran an indie film production company and a record label for well over a decade, where I worked around the clock and hardly slept. That led towards burnout and a total re-evaluation of my life purpose and priorities. I began a journey around the world studying yoga, meditation, life coaching, and various forms of alternative healing.

Sage & Strong Experiences evolved as a way to support creatives on their spiritual and healing journeys.  I love being in a position to collaborate with, nurture and promote individuals and brands based on my lived experiences.

I am a consultant and creative development producer with Kind Spirit Media, from script editing and feedback, to pitching for commission or funding. I also produce a monthly wellbeing and creativity podcast called TLC: The Light Conversations.

In tandem, I work in documentary acquisitions for MANGU.TV which is very inspiring and rewarding, as I watch and source great documentary films about consciousness, spirituality, philosophy, and sexuality.

My life revolves around wellbeing and creativity and I am passionate about how these elements support and inform each other. They certainly enrich my life as fuel for everything I do, personally and professionally.

Creativity often requires deep vulnerability, while personal growth demands self-awareness and resilience. Can you share a moment when your creative work challenged you on a personal level, and how that experience reshaped your outlook or approach?

I have experienced some challenging personalities and collaborations that inspired me to study things like transactional analysis, shadow work, and the games people play. I ended up writing a manifesto called “COOLLABORATION” for NIGHT Magazine.

Now I encourage honest communication and clarity in all relationships because so much conflict and misunderstanding arises from unexpressed expectations or unmet needs, which can emerge in all sorts of unhelpful ways. It is important to create an atmosphere where truth-talking is the norm and space is held for differing opinions or vulnerability to be respected. I have done a lot of work on understanding my inner world and it is an ongoing growth journey, so I look for collaborators and mentors who inspire me and value that too.

I learnt through trial and error to choose carefully who I work or engage with.

I highly value good vibes, reliability, authenticity and integrity.

In the pursuit of artistic excellence, many creatives struggle with maintaining mental and emotional well-being. How do you personally navigate this balance, and what practices have helped you stay grounded while pursuing ambitious creative goals?

I need time alone in silence to daydream, build a vision or receive downloads of information, preferably time in nature.  These things support me to show up in my heart ,as my wisest and best self.

I began offering workshops and retreats  as a way to reconnect with and introduce the great teachers and collaborators I have learnt from, also to share my holistic toolkit and empower others. We currently host nurturing gatherings once a month on the full moon.

I still feel that wellbeing and mental health are not enough of a priority in the creative industries, but thankfully this is rapidly changing with more professionals being courageous and speaking out about how they have overcome personal struggles on the road to success.

Wellness as a priority in both creativity and business allows for a more sustainable, authentically fulfilling life.

Beyond your own journey, you’ve worked with diverse individuals through your platforms. What transformations have you witnessed in others who have embraced creativity as a tool for self-discovery and healing?

I have witnessed and supported individuals to express themselves in new ways through less familiar mediums, which can bring so much joy and freedom to move away from perfectionism or monotony which often comes with honing a craft.

I’ve also witnessed people taking radically new approaches, which can unlock a flood of great ideas.

I have seen people consciously quit jobs to set up new companies, start new projects, and design an incredibly fulfilling life.

With the right support, intention and vision anything is possible.

Looking ahead, how do you plan to further integrate creativity and personal growth in your upcoming projects? What message do you hope to share with those seeking to use their creativity as a means of transformation?

I plan to produce and promote inspiring, thought-provoking, uplifting films/TV/content.

I’ve got “The Little Light Book” coming out this year through Hay House/Balboa Press, featuring interviews with expert guests from TLC podcast peppered with anecdotes from my learning journey. The tagline is “How to find your way through the dark”, it is something I would have liked to read during the times when I felt lost, depressed, stuck or overwhelmed.

My advice to those seeking to use their creativity as a means for transformation would be to stay curious on this magical mystery tour we call life, particularly when things get challenging.

Creativity is ultimately a process of reflection and expression. A flow state can emerge through cultivating gratitude, playfulness, and a sense of wonder.

I would ultimately love to partner with or own a beautiful retreat center that has an edit suite and a recording studio on site. A place where publishing companies, record labels and film/TV studios can send their creatives for extended periods to write and edit their film or record their albums. It would be an inspiring, healthy, creative place for people to take a pause and recalibrate or gain a new perspective on life and develop empowering habits; with therapists present as guides to support inner work and breakthroughs. Yoga teacher training and holistic studies or retreats would be led by visiting teachers, including those I have studied with over the years.

That’s my ultimate dream, to keep doing what I do in a beautiful place where people can come and stay to teach, learn, heal, grow, dream and create.
